Steiermark or Styria is the most southern region in Austria located on the border with Slovenia and it is one of the smallest and beautiful wine-producing regions in the country. It is well known especially for its fresh and mineral white wines made from Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller and Chardonnay known under the name Morillon.
